The JAT & Friends 8000m Challenge is a charity event in which all the members of JAT and Girls Aloud will compete. They will attempt to climb all of the 8000m moutains or taller.

There are 14 mountains that are 8000m or taller as this will be taking place in the late winter of 2012 and early winter of 2013 should the complete this challenge they will become the first people to climb K2, Nanga Parbat and Broad Peak in the winter.

James Harrison said he wanted to do this as he wanted to climb the eight-thousanders and he wanted to raise money for charity.
