Joseph Michael Harrison OBE (born 14 July 1983) is an English professional footballer. He currently plays for English Premier League side Norwich City as a striker. He spent the first seven years of his career with the club he supported as a child; Burton Albion he earnt promotion to the Conference National in 2001/02. After his seven year spell he moved to Coca-Cola League One side Huddersfield where he made 144 appearances netting 144 goals. He joined Derby County in 2009 in the Championship. He played just 98 matches netting 96 goals before joining Norwich City for £5.3 Million following Norwich's promotion to the Premier League. He has played 22 matches netting 25 goals in a highly successful first season in the Premier League. For a 3 year spell from 1999 he played earnt 22 caps for the England U19 team netting 24 goals in this time. He then earnt 33 caps for England U21 scoring 32 times he did all this whilst still with Burton. In 2004 & 2008 he was picked to play for Great Britain at the Olympics he played all 14 possible games earning 2 Gold medals in Athens and Beijing netting 18 goals. Since 2005 he has earnt 70 caps for England netting a record 68 goals.
Joe is the fourth of nine children. He is the younger brother of JAT lead singer James Harrison and solo singers Katie, Sophie & Louise Harrison. He is also the older brother of actor Matthew Harrison and professional footballers Brooke, Ashlynn and Charlie Harrison. Since 2004 he has been married to actress Jodi Albert and has three children.
